	I grew up in Rome. After getting my Bachelor degree in architecture my dream was to go to MIT. So, I came to the United States without speaking any English. Five months later, instead of MIT, I ended up at the University of Wisconsin. Through this experience, my dream changed to a desire to help international students connect with mentors who could guide them in achieving their life goals but more importantly to help them discover their true passions.

	My neighbor and friend What initially inspired me to help other people find their way was an experience I had with my neighbor and friend in Rome. He wanted to change his perspective of the world so I arranged for him to come to the United States to take courses in English and cultural development. His experience in the states was so empowering that when he returned to Europe he ended up working on satellite systems for the European Space Agency.
