I started as an artist at the age of 3 and then took on music at 16. These arts were instrumental in how I experienced the world, everything could be seen as art and heard as music. After studying music composition at Bard College, I eventually studied the ancient medical art of Ayurveda while living in Brooklyn. Together these two programs lead me to study sound & music healing at Lesley University in their Self-Designed Master’s degree. A sound world is a happy world.

Caleb’s recommendations |

 |
Book Emergence – Steven Johnson – If you ever wondered about how small things come together to form bigger things, and the dynamics that surround them, Johnson navigates through a smattering of these ideas in a beautifully constructed way.

Music “I am sitting in a room” – Alvin Lucier – Listen to two sentences melt away into the resonant frequencies of the room where syllables minimize into inflections, edges into rolling waves.

Place The Charles River Riverside – Just to the right of the JFK bridge is a perfect place to walk, sit, think or play. I often go here, a retreat to the water, to let things flow again.
